La contaminación también es un problema grave
Alberto Islas el 08-10-09 El calentamiento global y el cambio climático son problemas muy graves que se tiene que resolver lo más pronto posible, pero existen más problemas que ambientales que también merecen atención, uno de ellos es la contaminación.
Actualmente más de 1000 millones (1/6 de la población mundial) de personas al año son afectadas cada año por los contaminantes en el agua, en el aire y en los alimentos, como consecuencia millones de personas mueren por la contaminación, sobre todo en países industrializados.

Las personas que viven expuestas a los contaminantes además de ser afectadas directamente por estos también están más propensas a contraer otras enfermedades ya que tienen un sistema inmunológico más débil.

Como nos afecta la contaminación
Pero no solo los países industrializados tienen este problema, porque en los países en vías de desarrollo también existen contaminantes que pueden ser procesados pero por falta de tecnología y recursos muchas veces afectan a la población directamente como el agua que no tratada que es distribuida a la población causando graves enfermedades entre las personas, también se estima que 2 millones de niños mueren a la año como causa de enfermedades respiratorias causadas por la contaminación del aire.
