Batería liquida acelerara el uso masivo de energía limpia
Alberto Islas el 28-11-09 En el pasado mes de marzo el MIT anunció el desarrollo de una batería líquida, la cual fue hecha usando metales líquidos y un electrolito líquido entre ellas. Pero esta batería se decía que fue desarrollada para usos portátiles para sustituir a las baterías de ion-litio que se usan actualmente en dispositivos electrónicos portátiles y automóviles.

Después de obtener algunos fondos importantes de la Advanced Research Projects Agency Energy, el inventor cambio de opinión y ahora también cree que en lugar de usarse solo en sistemas pequeños, la batería puede fabricarse lo suficientemente grande como para almacenar energía renovable en gran escala
La batería liquida será de un tamaño nunca antes visto y permitirá almacenar la energía limpia producida en granjas eólicas y estaciones de energía solar, aumentando así la productividad y estabilidad de las redes eléctricas que obtengan su energía de fuentes renovables ya que los parques solares sólo funcionan durante el día y el viento es más fuerte en la noche, la batería se utiliza para almacenar el exceso de energía y la potencia de la red durante el tiempo de inactividad para tenerla disponible cuando este excesivamente no nublado o no sople el viento, este avance sin duda impulsara el desarrollo de redes eléctricas totalmente “ecofriendly” para su uso masivo en las ciudades.

A lot of of the things you state happens to be astonishingly accurate and that makes me ponder why I hadn’t looked at this in this light previously. Your piece really did switch the light on for me personally as far as this particular issue goes.
